First quarter Chapter 7 Discharges are down 9.6% (Q1 2016=144,440 compared to Q1 2017=130,627).

January – May 2016 showed 177,469 and the same period in 2017 shows 165,034 Discharges bringing  the down trend to 7% for the year.
